A seminar on the importance of mother tongue was organized by the Sindh Graduates Association (SGA) in Larkana in the press club, in which the main leaders of SGA were Professor Khalid Hussain Chana, Vice Chairman, Secretary Culture Shahabuddin Shahani, Secretary Education Pearl Khan Khoso. Including district leader Syed Javed Shah Jilani, Niaz Hussain Jagirani, Pro Vice Chancellor of Sindh University Campus Larkana Syed Azhar Ali Shah, Dr. Badruddin Dhamrah, Professor Riazat Bharro, Professor Rizwan Gul, and a large number of personalities related to different schools participated.
On that occasion, Khalid Hussain Chana said that Siga was founded in 1978, during which a survey was conducted that basic facilities were not available in the ancient villages of Sindh, on which Siga did a lot of work. , its purpose is to create a movement that what is the power that prohibits us from speaking our language that you neither speak Sindhi nor you read, write and send messages, we have to check ourselves psychologically.
Who is it that is forbidding us, when the world says that you should read, write and speak your mother tongue, then who is in danger, not in our language, no one is in danger, yet we spend money. We educate our children in other languages, so we have to start the change from our homes and educate our children in the mother tongue Sindhi.
Addressing the seminar on this occasion, Shahabuddin Shahani said that it has been the tradition of SAGA that SAGA has always raised its voice on the problems of Sindh, be it Kalabagh dam or education or any other problem, we have played a role in every problem.
Yes, our relationship with education has been from the beginning. He said that I have visited most of the schools in Sindh, where the male and female students feel ashamed to answer questions in Sindhi, which proves that we are not paying attention to our mother tongue. We have all requested that we pay attention to our children and save the native Sindhi language, while we demand that all subjects should be taught in Sindhi to the children in the public and private schools of Sindh.
On this occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor of Sindh University Campus Syed Azhar Hussain Shah said that today's gathering is for the people of knowledge, so the people sitting here will give up their hunger for three days and pay attention to the matter of knowledge because we are the people of knowledge. We are knowledge because a man dies, but action and knowledge never die. The more knowledge a man has, the better he will act. The connection is with knowledge.
There was an environment of hatred and terrorism, but despite this, Siga did his job well. He said that the people of Sindh are spending money on public money, they are giving every risk to their children, but morally they are living the life of animals, which are not paying attention to good deeds, in other provinces of the country. Komora did something for the people to some extent, but there is nothing here.
Work has to be done, for which I will demand that the Sindhi language be given the national language status. On this occasion, Pearl Khan addressed the people and said that at this time there is a need to increase the education of girls, which will keep the Sindhi language as the mother tongue alive. We all have to play our part. 7 and a half thousand schools are closed, but the commissioner and director of schools do not pay any attention to this matter, for which we all need to give written complaints that why there is such cruelty with the last Sindh, while the former teachers are under the tree.
They used to educate children, for which we have to own public schools, if we have to save our mother tongue Sindhi, we have to work on education. Speaking on this occasion, Badruddin Dhamrah said that in the decade 1986 Sindhi language was the first position in the world, and it is now equal to zero, the reason is that we are not paying attention to our mother Sindhi language, even now time has passed. No, we need to pay attention to the mother tongue because there is no time to go to the Sindhi language, for which we propose to build one school in all the headquarters of Sindh and their Monitoring should also be done.
On that occasion, Professor Riazat Bharro said that we all have a love for our mother tongue, that is why we have all gathered in this seminar in this severe heat, for which it is necessary that we take measures to increase our language and A scientific magazine should be brought by SAGA, which includes science and other important content in the Sindhi language, which should be delivered to every school and college.
Addressing the seminar, Professor Rizwan Gul said that in developed countries in the world, children are given initial education in their mother tongue, but here we are giving priority to English medium school, but as long as Sindh exists, our The mother tongue will not end, institutions including various schools of thought should play their role for the Sindhi language.
