Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that it is expected that the steps taken by the caretaker government will reduce the situation of political tension.

In a statement, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that it would be better if there were people who are really neutral in the caretaker setup, the caretaker government has a chance to end the tension created by PDM, neutral people should come in the caretaker setup. So that they can properly support the Election Commission.

He said that it is expected that the actions of the caretaker government will reduce the situation of political tension, if the caretaker government announces the release of the arrested women as a goodwill gesture, it will be a good progress.
