According to sources, there is a high level of flood at the Bhakanpatan bridge in Arifwala and Bahawal Nagar.


Sources say that due to the flood rails released from India into the Sutlej river, the river belt of Manchanabad, Bahawalnagar and Chishtian has been severely affected.


Apart from this, crops were destroyed, roads and land routes were inundated while 22 schools were also flooded.


According to the sources, people from many settlements of the river belt in Bahawalpur have shifted to safer places.


On the other hand, several small dams broke due to the increase in the water level at Borewala, and there is a possibility that many villages of Lodhran will also be affected by the flood.
