Tabish Hashmi, host of the Geo News show "Laughing is Forbidden", responded to speculations about the show's concept.
Comedian and host Tabish Hashmi, who started his career with digital media, recently spoke to Geo Digital about his comments on social media regarding his show 'Laughing is Forbidden'.
He says that the sets of Indian channel's program 'The Kapil Sharma Show' and Geo News' program 'Laughing is forbidden' have some similarities but there are many differences between the two shows.
Tabish Hashmi said that Delhi is shown on the set of the Indian program while Lahore is shown in the Pakistani program. The reason for the similarity felt by the viewers is that the two cities look alike.
Talking about the concept of the show, he said, "Comedy is being done by setting up a stage. This is a Pakistani concept, this is our concept of Omar Sharif, Amanullah, which was stolen by The Kapil Sharma Show." '
Tabish Hashmi said that so much investment has been made in the promotion and production of this program that this concept is felt by him.
He further said that Kapil's show is held once a week while our show is held 3 times. In Kapil Sharma's show, scripts are sent to the guests, rehearsals are done, then the show is done.
