 Karachi: The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Energy. In the meeting, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that the Sindh Lakhra Coal Company should ensure the safety of miners.

Workers are the backbone of every sector, including mining.

Dispensaries, ambulances and health personnel should always be kept active to protect the health and life of the miners.

Other coal blocks should also be auctioned to increase revenue.

To ensure merit and transparency in the auction of coal blocks.

All legal requirements regarding auction of blocks should be fulfilled.

Chairman P&D Syed Najam Shah, Secretary Energy Kazim Ali Jatoi, CO Mushtaq Ahmed Soomro and others participated in the meeting chaired by the Minister of Energy.
