Government agencies should continue operations against illegal activities, Army Chief

Army Chief General Asim Munir has directed that the law enforcers and other government agencies continue operations against illegal activities.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Asim Munir visited Karachi and attended the Provincial Apex Committee meeting along with caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice Retired Maqbool Baqir.

ISPR said that the Army Chief was briefed on the revised National Action Plan and the operation in the Kutch area of Sindh in the Apex Committee meeting.

 ISPR says that the Army Chief was briefed on the security of foreigners working on CPEC and other projects and the measures taken to bring back illegally staying foreigners.

According to ISPR, General Asim Munir was apprised of the progress on foreign exchange regularization measures, Karachi Transformation Plan, SIFC measures.

On this occasion, the Army Chief said that the law enforcers and other government agencies should continue operations against illegal activities, the operations will prevent the theft of resources and the economic losses caused to the country.

He emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation between all concerned departments.

The participants of the apex committee said that the state institutions, government departments and people are united for the development and prosperity of the province.
