Actress Shamita Shetty of the Indian film industry has dismissed the news circulating about her relationship with actor Aamir Ali as fake.

In her message on the social networking site Twitter, Shamita Shetty denied dating Aamir Ali and wrote that 'I am single and happy, why is everyone's every action scrutinized? '.

The actress wrote that 'there are possibilities beyond what narrow-minded people think, it's time we open our minds and focus on other important issues of the country'.

It may be noted that Shamita Shetty and Aamir Ali attended Smita Bangargi and Ashish Chaudhary's birthday party together after which there were speculations that the two were dating each other.
