Alia Bhatt is one of the most expensive actresses in the Indian film industry.

In a recent interview, Alia Bhatt talked about the remuneration received from her debut film 'Student of the Year.

He says that I was paid Rs 15 lakh for the film Student of the Year, but instead of using my first pay cheque, I went straight and gave it to my mother.

He also told me that I had asked my mother to take care of this money and till today my mother is taking care of my money.

Remember that 'Student of the Year was released in 2012 and this film is considered to be the worst film in Indian director Karan Johar's career.

The film was criticized for various reasons, including poor script, disappointing performance at the box office, and promotion of nepotism.
