450-megapixel camera development for mobile phones

Now smartphone equipped with a 200-megapixel camera has been introduced yet, but work on a 450-megapixel camera has also started.

A camera sensor is being worked on by Samsung and according to a report, it could be a camera equipped with a 450-megapixel resolution.

The Hexa 2 Pixel trademark has been registered for it in Korea.

According to a report by Sam Mobile, the trademark does not mention a camera sensor equipped with a 450-megapixel resolution.

But still, people believe that this hints at the preparation of a 450-megapixel camera.

Hexa Pixel is a new technology that works like Tetra 2 Pixel by combining a group of 6x6 pixels into one which means the sensor resolution will be 450 megapixels.

Well, even if this technology is real, it is unlikely to be introduced soon, but may take one to two years.

A few years ago, leaks revealed that the company wanted to produce a camera sensor with a 600-megapixel resolution, so this Hexa-pixel sensor is a step towards that goal.
